Before becoming a Virtuoso® Luxury Travel Advisor, I spent most of my working life teaching geography when I wasn’t traveling the world.
After posting my travel photography online, I became the go-to resource when people wanted travel tips or destination specific recommendations from one of the dozens of countries that I have personally explored. I realized how much I truly enjoy sharing my expertise with anyone who asked for advice and even went as far as helping friends and family members plan their trips.
I feel so lucky that I now get to work as a full-time professional travel advisor, after years of unofficially acting as one.
In a way I still think of myself as a geography educator, since there is such a deep connection between travel and education. It’s extremely fulfilling when clients describe how the itinerary I created for them revealed the heart and soul of a destination or exposed them to new elements of a different culture.
